Evans has a Master's in Social Work from Syracuse University and brings approximately 11 years of union experience to her position. She's currently working towards a certificate in Labor studies at the Cornell University ILS School. Evans has four daughters and two grandchildren. She resides in West Irondequoit.

Evelyn Evans, formerly the Grievance Co-Chair for services, now holds the title of President at the Monroe County Federation of Social Workers. As president of FSW, Evans represents the contractual employment interests of the 900-plus members of the organization. She advocates for members by frequently meeting with department and County officials to discuss pertinent issues. Other tasks include directing the FSW staff and coordinating the activities of the executive board members.

Peg Capuano has been Vice President of the Federation since 2005. She works alongside the president of the Federation, Evelyn Evans, to ensure the organization carries out its duties to the members. Capuano presides over monthly Steward Council meetings, attends all Labor Management meetings, is a member of the Grievance Committee and performs presidential duties when the president is not able.

Rick Jacobs has served as treasurer since 1982. He accounts for all receipts and expenditures, conducts monthly financial reports to the executive Board, prepares budgets, performs investment analysis and provides recommendations on financial issues. Jacobs also arranges for yearly review of financial records by accountants, prepares taxes and responds to inquiries from the Internal Revenue Service. After more than 30 years of working for Monroe County, Jacobs retired in 2006.

Lorie Woloson has been Secretary since January 2009. Woloson was previously a Steward at Westfall Road. She is responsible for taking and maintaining a record of minutes for all EBoard, General Membership, and any other related meetings for our Union. Woloson has been employed by Monroe County for 24 years, presently as a Senior Examiner on Team 45-Chronic Care Medicaid/Food Stamps.
